For those who want to be transported to the English Winter, strolling the city with a warm cup of Mulled Wine, this tea is the perfect substitute. I created this tea, to capture the memory of drinking Mulled Wine while walking along the river in London. Christmas isn’t Christmas without Mulled Wine.
When I was cutting out alcohol from my diet, I still wanted to enjoy the taste of Mulled Wine. Hibiscus tea is such a close comparison to wine, so it was a perfect base to start to blend. Many, many, many trials later, and this is the final result. For anyone who has ever tried mulled wine, it is hard to believe it doesn’t contain alcohol. It is such a close match! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
