The wonderful healing tradition of bone broth has been around for centuries. In modern society we have adapted the method that works for us, but I believe we have forgotten about the addition of herbal medicine. Traditionally broths were made with the addition of herbal medicine to improve the medicinal benefit of the broth.
This bone broth booster has been in development for many months, getting the herbal mix right. There are so many traditional herbs to chose from, but these are the ones I ended up choosing based on their amazing health benefits and how they work with the whole body – kidneys, digestion, lymphatic system etc.
To prepare: you can either add 1-2 Tbsp to the broth at the beginning (for a short cooked broth), or near the end for a longer cooked broth. 30min-1 hour is all you will need. You can add them directly to the broth, or wrap in muslin cloth so you can remove when you like.
